I took my first yoga class in 2012 as I was curious about the physical benefits that the practice had to offer. Yet my passion and dedication to the practice only began in 2015, when I started to experience issues with anxiety. Upon finding The YogaLife, whose teachers inspired me to commit to returning to my mat over and over again, I realized the positive impact that yoga had on my mental health. I love how the practice enables people to find a safe space within themselves. I truly believe that a strong body leads to a strong mind, and that the growth and transformation that takes place on the mat extends into every other aspect of life. After being a full time university student for 5 years, I completed my 200 hour teacher training at the YogaLife in 2020.
