Gemma Joy Trehearn is Cape Town raised , a virgo, and an artist and creative soul. Gemma completed her RYT 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at The Shala in 2016 , fell in love and began teaching at The Source Cape Town in 2017 . Gemma joined the YogaLife team in 2018. She enjoys teaching an energising /powerful and playful class ;vinyasa and power vinyasa.
As well as a yoga teacher Gemma is a professional dancer and actress . She graduated from the Cape Academy of Performing Arts in 2015 and since has been a dancer for a contemporary/neo classical company; The Cape Dance Company as well as having worked with Jazzart dance Theatre, The Fugard Theatre( West Side Story) , DonRoy Entertainment ( Iris Warriors) and other acting work on film. She believes that by serving and giving through yoga and art we can find a deeper connection and truth in this life.
